Background and content of the project
Based on previous recommendations of PlaNet Logistics, customer had decided to centralize production, distribution and dispatch.
Aim of the project was to develop Master Plan and operative plan for a distribution centre including process, layout and systems for order picking and materials handling.
Responsibilities of PlaNet Logistics in the project:
- Dimensioning of capacities using simulation
- Developing technical solutions and layout
- Calculation of investment and operative costs
